What you get:

• Initial consultation (1-1.5 hours, in-home OR virtual - your choice) - $100 deposit required, applied to package total

• If in-home: I take all measurements professionally

• If virtual: I guide you through taking accurate measurements yourself

• 2-3 different digital layout options in SketchUp showing various furniture arrangements

• Measurements and furniture dimensions for each option

• Shopping guidance with specifications for all pieces you'll need (like "low-profile sofa 78-84" long" or "bookshelf 72" tall × 36" wide")

 

What happens: I create multiple layout possibilities for your space so you can see different approaches. You choose your favorite layout, and I provide you with exact measurements and specifications so you know what to shop for. You execute the design yourself.

Best for: Tricky spaces, small rooms, or anyone who wants detailed optimization and problem-solving

• PLUS: Deep customization of your chosen layout

• Detailed problem-solving for storage challenges, awkward corners, or difficult dimensions

• Optimization for every inch of your space - especially important for small or oddly-shaped rooms

• More refined shopping guidance with specific recommendations

 

What happens: We work together to refine your chosen layout beyond the initial options. I spend extra time figuring out creative solutions for problem areas, maximizing storage, and making sure every detail works perfectly for how you actually live in the space.

Best for: People who want professional help executing the design from start to finish

 

What you get:

• Everything in Layout Options + Guided Design

• PLUS: I come back after your furniture arrives

• My assistant and I arrange everything according to the chosen layout

• We make final adjustments and tweaks in person to ensure everything looks and functions perfectly

• You get a beautifully arranged space without the stress, heavy lifting, or guesswork

 

What happens: I design your layout, you purchase the furniture, then my assistant and I come physically arrange everything when it arrives. You get professional execution without having to figure out placement or move heavy furniture yourself.

 

Room size: Designed for standard-sized rooms (bedrooms, living rooms, home offices up to 300 sq ft). Very large rooms or complex spaces may require additional hours at $110/hour (for both me and my assistant) with your approval.

Best for: Real estate photos, special events, or making your space magazine-ready with professional styling

 

What you get:

• Everything in Full-Service Design

• PLUS: Professional styling by my design assistant Kari (3-4 hours)

• Art and décor placement on walls, shelves, and surfaces

• Styling for visual cohesion and polish

• Perfect for listing photos or when you want a truly showcase-ready space

 

What happens: I design the layout and arrange your furniture with my assistant. Then Kari comes in and adds the finishing touches - hanging art, placing décor, styling shelves and surfaces to create that polished, professionally styled look that makes your space feel complete.

 

Important note about staging: This package requires my design assistant Kari's availability. We'll coordinate scheduling for the styling portion once the furniture setup is complete. The professional styling is absolutely worth the wait - clients consistently say Kari's eye for design transforms their spaces.

Pricing is per room. What counts as "one room"?

• Kitchen

• Living room

• Bedroom

• Home office

• Any other single space needing layout design

 

How Payment Works: All design packages require a $100 consultation deposit to get started. I'll assess your space, take measurements if in-home, and confirm the right package for you. This $100 is applied toward your total package price. The remaining balance is due upon project completion

Entire Home Design: Contact me for package pricing when booking 4+ rooms. Most clients save $200-500 plus get priority scheduling and a free follow-up visit to make any adjustments!

 

If we go over time: With your approval, additional hours are billed at $75/hour for Layout Options and Guided Design, or $110/hour for Full-Service Design and Design + Staging (which includes both me and my assistant). I'll check in with you as we approach the time limit so there are no surprises.
